When managing folders in Eagle, there is no dedicated "merge folders" feature, but you can achieve the same effect by moving materials to the target folder. Here are several simple and efficient methods to consolidate your material folders.

- Select the material files you want to move
- Right-click to open the menu and select the "Add to Folders" option
- Or directly use the shortcut key
Ctrl
/⌘
+Shift
+J
- In the pop-up window, check the target folder
- Important: Check the "Remove from the current folder" option
- After completing the move, you can delete the now-empty original folder
Method 2: Using the Folder Selection Window
- Select the material files that need to be moved
- Press the shortcut key
F
to open the folder selection window - In the window, check the target folder and uncheck other unnecessary folders
- After completing the operation, delete the original folder that has no files
Method 3: Direct Drag and Drop
- Select the material files that need to be moved
- Directly drag the selected files with your mouse to the target folder
- After the move is complete, delete the now-empty original folder
Important Notes
- Before moving files, it's recommended to first confirm whether the target folder is correct
- If there are many files, you can move them in batches to avoid operational errors
- Before deleting empty folders, please ensure all needed files have been correctly moved
